**Job Descriptions**:

- Assembly, fitting, basic tool room machining, mould development, implementing process improvements for tool manufacturing and liaise with machining technician for process planning and scheduling of project.
- Assists in mold setup and inspection before production
- Discuss tooling drawing with Designer to ensure tooling design is meeting customer product requirement.
- Assemble, fitting and troubleshooting of tooling related issue.
- Fabricate tooling components and inserts according to tooling drawing.
- Liaise with Production Tech for execution/planning on mould testing.
- Ensure tool manufacturing and trial meeting planned schedule.
- Initiate corrective action if first article or parts not meeting specification.
- Ensures molds cavities efficiency are maintained at 95% or better
- Evaluates the possibilities of rectifying or simply molds for better changeability or moldability
- Ensure tool room facilities and equipment are properly maintained and used.
- Ensure tool room health and safety precautions are taken care at all times.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Project.
- Ensures all inserts must be cleaned and checked during each change over
- Ensures all molds problems are recorded into allocated mold logbook
- Ensures all molds are in proper maintained and recorded as per the frequency of the mold cycle
- Ensure machines area are clean during mold setup
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
