**Roles and Responsibilities (What does the job do?)**

2. Setup the server infrastructure as per design. Ensure implementation meets bank’s security standards and industry’s security standards.

3. Perform continuous improvement for the platform covering areas such as: capacity planning, observability, monitoring, reliability, and resiliency.

4. Configure monitoring solutions for enterprise requirements.

5. Automate repetitive tasks, optimize processes, and perform thorough testing to ensure quality.

7. Design and develop data engineering pipelines and manage data lifecycle policies.

8. Create and maintain software documentation for the platform.

**Deliverables ( How they will be measured as mandatory needs)**

1. Ensure on-time delivery of tasks and projects.

3. Ensure no security or audit issues.

**Job Dimensions (What is the job accountable for? E.g. number of direct reports, sales revenue, cost budget, coverage of responsibilities over other locations/non-bank entities etc.)**

1. Comply to bank standards to track and follow up on the assigned projects.

**Education and Relevant Experience (What minimum qualification does the job require?)**

1. You should be a polytechnic or university graduate (computer science or related field) with good experience working with contemporary technologies and scripting languages.

2. Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management

3. A passion for learning and using new technologies in the open source communities.

4. A passion for coding.

**Functional / Technical Competencies (What competencies do the job require?)**

1. Min 8 years of relevant IT work experience.

2. Working knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Nginx, Confluent Kafka, Elastic stack (Elasticsearch / Logstash / Kibana / Beats) including data ingestion, management, monitoring & analytics. Able to perform L1/2 ELK related tasks.

3. Experience upgrading ELK stack and other software above.

4. In-depth experience in Unix/Linux/Shell/Python scripting.

5. Knowledgeable and experienced in SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) practices covering monitoring, observability, performance management, automation, and resiliency.

6. Strong hands-on experience in Linux platform, containers, experience in configuring reverse proxies, SSL/TLS.

7. Good understanding of Network routing, Load balancing and Networking protocols; a base knowledge of TCP/IP, with an understanding of HTTP and DNS

8. Ability to contribute to discussions on design and strategy.

10. Good problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills

11. Experience in NodeJS, Spring boot would be a plus.

12. Experience in automation tools (e.g. Ansible) & DevOps CI/CD pipelines would be a plus.

13. Self-driven, committed, and reliable team player.
