Oasis Dental Centre is a brand new, beautifully renovated clinic in Parkway Parade. We are located on the ground floor next to the taxi stand, with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides for a bright and airy working environment.

We are looking for responsible, motivated dental assistants to build a friendly and supportive team. We care very much for our team member's career and personal growth, and we hope that our junior nurses will progress to become senior nurses and managers as we grow our clinics.

We are very open to suggestions on how to improve our workflow and employee benefits, and we invite our dental nurses to take the initiative to improve things around you for the best interest of the practice and patients.
- Senior nurse should be able to train new hires, help to optimize workflow, and oversee junior nurses.
- Front desk and Cashier duties as needed
- Ensure the comfort of patients throughout treatment
- Assists our dental surgeons efficiently in all clinical and dental treatment
- Take notes from dentist as per dictation for patients records
- Prepare materials, dental instruments and equipment as required
- Processes contaminated instruments and equipment in accordance with practice procedures
- Ensure a high standard of infection control and sterilization
- Ensure dental surgery health and safety policy are adhered to
- Maintains appropriate level of supplies in the treatment rooms and sterilization area
- Other related duties include casting of models and handling of lab cases
- Use Plato Patient Management System and office software efficiently (training will be provided)

**Job Requirements**
- NITEC in Dental Assisting or dental experience
- Have excellent communication skills to reassure patients and create a friendly atmosphere in the dental clinic
- Ability to educate patients on preventative and oral health care
- Excellent decision making, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Ability to use Plato is an advantage but not a requirement
- Able to work night shift and weekends (five-day work week, closed on PH)
