This position promotes a safe work environment and protecting the public to ensure the health and safety of all UPS employees and customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assists in the development and execution of the Health and Safety Action Plan to maintain a safe work environment
- Assist in ensuring regulatory and UPS policy compliance to prevent injuries and accidents and reduce workers compensation and liability costs
- Conducts district-wide safety training and certifications to ensure compliance and consistency
- Conducts health and safety audits and inspections (e.g., employee observations, hearing and fall protection, seatbelt, etc.) to identify areas of non-compliance
- Work with Health & Safety Managers to schedule and participate in meetings with organizational and regulatory representatives to foster positive working relations
- Assists in maintaining positive contacts with professional, regulatory, and community organizations to provide a safe work environment and strengthen UPS's standing in communities that are served

**Qualifications**:

- Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety or related fields
- Possess at least 2-3 years of prior experience conducting health and safety inspections as well as incident investigation
- Possess good written and communication skills
- Proficiency in other South East Asia languages is a plus as this role interacts with stakeholders across South East Asia and across management levels
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision while producing quality work
- Prior experience in logistics industry and/or Health & Safety function will be preferred
