As a Purchasing Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our procurement department. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Processing purchase orders, requisitions, and invoices in a timely and accurate manner
- Maintaining accurate records of all purchasing activities, including vendor information, pricing, and order history
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain issues
- Researching and evaluating potential suppliers to secure the best possible pricing and terms
- Assisting in the development and implementation of purchasing policies and procedures
- Providing administrative support to the purchasing manager and other team members as needed

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent, with some post-secondary education or training in procurement or a related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
