Argyll Scott is working on confidential search for Head of Compliance for one of our Global Insurance Client. This is a perm role with clear succession plan and has Asia as regional aspect.
- Monitoring_
- Day to day management of the Regional Compliance Assurance Review.
- Preparation of annual regional planning draft including timetable by location, for discussion with Regional and Global Compliance.
- Planning for each review, incorporating an assessment that includes the location's regulatory environment, regulatory audits, and the results from other internal and external audits, breaches and incidents & complaints, as well as an understanding of audits in progress or planned by other functions.
- Risks and Controls selections in consideration of the planning assessment.
- Performance of the compliance review, both onsite and remote, inclusive of interviews, document reviews, walkthroughs, sampling and testing.
- Identification and discussion of findings and agreement of actions plans with local management.
- Liaison with local Compliance Officers to monitor completion of action plans by approved due dates.
- Working with the local Compliance Officers to continuously review, update and enhance their Business Compliance Profiles and Compliance Risk Registers.
- Oversight of locally performed Compliance Reviews
- Reporting_
- Drafting of Compliance assurance review and thematic review reports for discussion and review with the Regional Compliance Officer and Global Compliance.
- Assisting the regional compliance officer to review the Regional Compliance Management Dashboard and drafting of the Monthly Compliance Report.
- Training_
- Monitoring Techniques - upskilling of local Compliance Officers in the performance of local compliance reviews
- You have_ min 12 years of experience in insurance compliance and familiar with large insurance company's reporting structure and has experience in handling or overseeing SEA plus Korea and Japan.
