Our Client is one of the largest Japanese Gaming Company. This role is responsible for Quality Control and will be reporting to the Localization Manager.
【 What you will be doing 】
- Helping the localization manager oversee the internal QA team for localization and the external localization vendors to make sure the localization projects are finished on time.
- Overseeing the translation of all texts from Japanese to English (and vice versa), including those for in-game texts, marketing content, news, bug reports, promotions, guides, events, and the production of glossaries, as needed, to ensure that the quality is up to standard.
- Helping the localization manager manage daily contacts with internal and external stakeholders (often in English and Japanese).
- Under the direction of the localization manager, keeping track of the schedule for localization projects and the deliverables from the internal QA team and/or external localization/QA suppliers.
- Assuring the quality of the organization's localization in the SEA area, and providing linguistic guidelines, instructions, and/or directives to outside translation/QA suppliers.
- ** Requirement**:

- Possess Bachelor Degree in any field.
- Experience in translation, QA testing, or localization preferably in the game business or a similar sector in a similar job will be advantageous.
- Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1) to liaise with Japanese HQ and Japanese vendors.
- Familiarity with localization tools and processes.
- ** Working Hour**: 9:00 ~ 18:00
