The **IT Support Engineer, ERP (FI/CO)** for Leica Biosystems is responsible to provide SAP Financial support on a global basis with particular emphasis on the users within the Asia Pacific region. Support to cover all SAP FI/CO modules - GL, AP, AR, AM, PC, CCA, IO, PA and BW. Support also to extends to the FI/CO integration with MM, SD, SM, PP.

This is a global position within the Leica OneIT Organisation, located in Singapore and will be hybrid. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.

You will be a part of the Global IT ERP Team and report to the Manager Global Support, ERP responsible for delivering world class support to our internal customers. **In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Develop and implement new SAP FI/CO solutions as per requirements from user support requests or global projects
- Work with the other members of the Global ERP Support Team in the UK, Portugal, Singapore, Malysia and Germany, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated FI/CO support is provided to the end users
- Work also with the wider Corporate IT team on integration projects
- Learn SAP FI/CO configuration and master data so that system maintenance / updates can be performed locally
- Build good working relationships with business stakeholders e.g. Corporate Finance, unit & divisional controllers, sales & operational management, internal audit etc.

**The essential requirements of the job include**:

- Solid background in financial & management accounting
- Good knowledge of SAP FI/CO configuration including understanding of the integration between SAP FI/CO and non-Finance modules
- Good spoken and written English skills are essential for effective communication
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- The ability to explain financial terms and concepts to non-financial users in an effective manner

**It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in**:

- Good knowledge of SAP from a Finance end user perspective
- An internationally recognized professional accounting qualification
- Bachelor´s degree or comparable
