**Overview**:
Assigned to the Research Administration function at the Office of Finance, the Research Administration function at the Office of Finance involves providing crucial financial support for research grants. Responsibilities include offering guidance on finance policies and reporting requirements to faculties, schools, and research centers, ensuring proper creation and maintenance of project accounts, overseeing fund administration, and providing compliance support to meet grant terms and conditions. This role plays a vital part in maintaining financial integrity and ensuring successful grant administration within the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review set-up of research project accounts for compliance with reporting and grant terms & conditions
- Review maintenance of project accounts is in line with project variations
- Review journal entries
- Provide financial advice and support to operating units
- Monitor research project accounts to ensure timely closure
- Liaise with auditors for timely certification of fund requisitions
- Support in other finance functions as and when required by the team

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Accountancy or its equivalent.
- Preferably with 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Good knowledge of SAP financial and project systems would be an advantage.
- Be meticulous, resourceful with positive work attitude.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Mature and possess good interpersonal skills.
