**What the role is**
- The Singapore Tourism Board’s (STB) Communications Division resides within the larger Marketing Group. The team supports STB in the area of public relations and media engagement to drive awareness and publicity of STB, the tourism sector, and the destination. The division also safeguards STB’s corporate identity and reputation.

**What you will be working on**
- As a Strategic Communications Officer, you will be responsible for shaping STB's corporate identity and locals' attitudes towards tourism, by taking on a wide spectrum of Strategic Communications activities including: - Developing and implementing integrated corporate marketing and communications plans to engage the public and stakeholders, and foster advocacy for tourism - Developing the Board's strategic messaging for the local and international audience - Managing corporate interviews, speaking engagements and corporate visits including liaison with media or external stakeholders, crafting of responses / talking points, seeking clearance and staffing senior management - Overseeing and managing crisis communications - Monitoring and analysing media coverage and ground sentiments towards tourism, including conducting perception surveys where needed

**What we are looking for**
- Be able to develop and execute integrated corporate marketing and communications plans to engage target audiences - Be able to think through public communication issues in a holistic and multi-modal manner - Strong team player with good interpersonal skills - Highly organised, able to perform under pressure and within tight timelines - Meticulous eye for detail and processes - A strong command of the English language - Marketing communications skills (digital, content, PR, campaign planning) - Good writing skills - Presentation skills - At least 2 years working experience in a relevant field - Experience in developing and implementing marketing campaigns - Experience in other digital and other marketing communications work such as website, public relations, social media - Experience in public engagement and advocacy building will be advantageous
