**What you will be working on**

Job Scope / Key deliverables:

- Collaborate closely with business users to extract actionable insights from data and processes and develop data-driven & optimised solutions to meet their needs
- Develop OR models (mathematical programming or simulation models) and present analytical insights to business users and stakeholders
- Manage large scale and complex OR studies which may be developed in-house of outsourced to external or consultancy agencies and/or academic institutions.
- Strong understanding and actual project experience in one or more of the following areas preferred:

- Mathematical Programming (eg linear programming, mixed integer programming)
- Constraint Programming
- Discrete-event simulation
- Agent-based simulation

**What we are looking for**

Job Requirements:

- Familiarity in mathematical programming tools and simulation tools such as IBM OPL, Cplex, Gurobi, Matlab, Arena, ExtendSim, AnyLogic and Vissim is an advantage.
- Experience in SQL or handling of data (merging data and data transformation) or user interface development and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, Java and C/C++/C# is an advantage.
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to communicate technical aspects effectively to non-technical audience.
All new appointees will be appointed on a two-year contract in the first instance.
