
Painting Inspector

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in preparing or compiling “Inspection & Test Plan” (ITP) for specific project/company requirements/surface preparation and painting/coating procedures.
- To check and monitor all painting/coating related works and ensure all final products are completed in accordance with procedures, client’s requirements and international codes.
- Responsible for all required inspection and testing hold points that have been developed and established by project specifications and methods.
- Responsible for incoming coating/painting material inspection and checks if incoming materials meet the requirements of project specifications.
- To check and monitor of hot dip galvanizing coating inspection in galvanizing plant.
- Responsible for the identification and control of nonconforming product and the maintenance of equipment calibrations.
- To prepare and compile all inspection and testing reports according to the project quality plan and handover for Client review.
- Co-ordinate with Production, Paint Manufacturer and Client’s representative on daily basis.
- Perform any other tasks as may be assigned by the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance to relevant government regulations and company’s quality, safety, health and environmental (QSHE) policies, practices and procedures at all times.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum relevant field of International Certification (e.g. FROSIO Level II, AMPP Certified Coating Inspector).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar capacity.
- Physically fit since some of tasks require lifting of some equipment.
- Computer literary (MS. Office).
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:
- 13th month salary
- Overtime pay
