**What the role is**
- To carry out operations to ensure and secure a supply of safe food that include: o Inspection and enforcement activities as well as contingency operations on food businesses; o Response to feedback on food safety issues, recall of food, investigation of foodborne outbreaks.

**What you will be working on**
- Conduct inspection and sampling at SFA licensed premises, imported food consignments, temporary fairs and fishing vessels.Enforce against breaches in legislative requirements, directions and licensing conditions.Investigate and respond to public enquiries pertaining to food safety and hygiene issues of SFA licensed food businesses.Provide guidance and advice to SFA licensees in meeting the regulatory and food safety requirements.Implement and manage operational activities that include recalls of unsafe food products, contingency operations involving food safety in food businesses, etc.Conduct review, develop initiatives and lead projects related to food safety, collaborating with relevant stakeholders such as food industry and other agencies, where required.
