Sr. Packaging Design Engineer

Singapore VERTI HUMAN CAPITAL PTE. LTD. Full time

**Key Responsibilies**
- Develop various packaging concepts in coordination with finished products and materials used and ensure compability of packaging with customer products
- Assist all internal teams and perform research on all products and evaluate packing requirements in development phase of all products.
- Design all release of packaging component and assemblies and coordinate with product designers and ensure compliance to all internal and external requirements.
- Provide technical support to all engineering and provide support to manufacturing and implementation processes of product packaging.
- Documents all engineering protocols and develop all engineering and manufacturing specification and ensure compliance to Standards and regulations.
- Prepare and documents all test designs for packages and prepare new packaging and ensure maintenance of all bill of materials according to required specification.
- Analyze and provide support to all actvities to achieve all marketing objectives and assist to launch new products and reduce cost of production.
- Review all new technology and prepare design to increase efficiency and ensure effective transition of all designs into design process.
- Coordinate with both national and international vendors and reduce material costs and plan all related activities for packaging such as transportation and display of products.
- Project Leadership including effective communication and collaboration between all stakeholders - Corrugated, Paper pulp, PE bag, Ki ng, etc.
- Aligning project schedules to facilitate the mely and efficient development.
- Establishing effective coordination with the client and suppliers for streamlined operations and improved collaboration.
- Regularly updating all stakeholders on the project's neutral status and any significant developments.Providing comprehensive NPI (New Product Introduction) support, including thorough planning and seamless execution of all related activities.

**Skills and Experience**
- Min. of 5 years of experience in a packaging development organization or similar
- Knowledge of materials science, including plastics, metals, and paper
- Familiarity with packaging manufacturing processes and systems
- Experience with design soware, such as creo Elements, Creo or SolidWorks
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, including sustainable packaging design
- Pleasant demeanour with excellent inter-personal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both in written and verbal formats
- Good working understanding of common professional needs like online meetings, presentations, reporting etc.Well verse in English

**Education **
- Engineering degree (preferably Mechanical) from a reputable institute
- Or Diploma in related mechanical or packaging or material engineering field
