**Job Descriptions**:
Under the responsibilities of the Chief Accountant, manage the accounting and tax matters for a

group of investment holding companies in Singapore, Hong-Kong and Indonesia, operate treasury

functions and maintain bank relations in Singapore & Hong Kong.

Main Responsibilities

**ACCOUNTING**
- Maintain the full set of accounts for a group of investment holding companies
- Ensure timely closing of accounts
- Perform bank, inter-company and balance sheet reconciliations
- Create bills from approved Purchase orders, ensure costs and expenses are accurately posted to the accounting system
- Review staff claims, ensure compliance to company policies and correct allocation to the project costs and expenses

**COMPLIANCE AND TAX**
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly GST returns
- Assist with statutory audit and tax compliance

**TREASURY**
- Prepare payments in e-banking (Maker role)
- Preparing weekly cash report and forecast for the Group
- Opening/closing and administration of bank accounts
- Day-to-day operation and relations with banks
- Maintain list of bank accounts and authorization
- Secure safety means of payments (cheques)
- Follow intercompany loan operations, including the drafting of such loan agreements, loan interest computations and repayment schedules

**BACK-UP**
- Back-up Chief Accountant on accounting and tax matters
- Support group consolidation process and reporting

**SYSTEMS**
- Key user of e-banking tools: secure proper interfacing with accounting system, follow new functionalities, maintain supplier data, support and train e-banking approvers.
