Work with APAC HR, APAC Rewards and Global Compensation management to ensure consistent compensation policies and practices are applied for the regional businesses as well as advise across the Rewards spectrum for the North and East Asia (NEA) cluster. This leadership role will manage a team and consult with internal clients on strategy and execution of compensation, benefits and mobility and provide day-to-day support to HR team and business leaders; and drive Rewards related projects across the Region.
**Responsibilities**:
- Drive compensation advisory for the Senior HR Advisors and Senior Business Leaders in ICG, PBWM and Rewards advisory for the NEA Cluster.
- Ensures the firm has competitive and cost effective reward policies and practices.
- Responsible for developing and executing the firm's reward strategy, managing the key areas of rewards, benefits and pensions and liaising with third parties to develop a consistent best practice approach.
- Directs compensation and benefits resources, practices and policies for key population(s) or directs planning and development of key disciplines within the Compensation and Benefits organization.
- Surveys external market, takes best practice from outside in order to proactively offer suggestions on how we could improve internally.
- Applies an in-depth strategic expertise in compensation and benefits principles, practices and procedures in the completion of complex assignments with potential for significant and broad business and/or geographical impact.
- Designs, plans, and implements broad compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
- Serves as a key advisor and partners with HR and/or directly with the Business, HRSS and other external Consultants to implement and deliver projects.
- Participates in policy development and planning.
- Manages a team of multiple teams of Compensation & Benefits professionals. Develops, attracts, and retains talent; recommends staffing levels required to carry out the unit’s role and responsibilities effectively while establishing and adhering to talent management processes and compensation and performance management programs. Mentors and develops junior staff.
- Actions have a significant impact on compensation end results through complex deliverables.
- Defines direction and strategy of compensation and benefit programs and functions globally. Sets strategy for achieving organization's desired compensation and benefit goals.
- Negotiate internally, often at a senior level, and engage in external communications
- Be a change champion by creating innovative solutions for existing and foreseeable problems and proactively challenge the status quo
**Qualifications**:
- 15+ years of experience, including 8-10+ years' managerial experience
- Seasoned leader with extensive business experience, broad and deep functional expertise and significant product knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Proactive leadership and motivational skills
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Proven influencing and relationship management skills
- High level of curiosity and eagerness to continuously learn and understand business drivers
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills

**Education**:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred and managerial experience
