DevOps & Lab Manager (SG - Edge)

As a DevOps & Lab Engineering Manager in our new Edge innovation group, you will
- Manage and lead an agile build and run team to deliver the software projects using DevSecOps practices and related tool sets.
- Work closely with the platform engineering team to deliver the infrastructure and operating environment for container-based microservices that meet the agreed high availability, performance, and security requirements.
- Manage servers, networks, switches, IoT sensors, and other gears related to the Edge team across multiple data centers and locations. Recording the installations, upgrades, backups, and maintenance of systems or software
- Support the data center/lab strategy and recommend modifications as appropriate to adjust for changing circumstances; Conducts capacity planning for the lab/data center.
- Work closely with cross-functional groups, including internal stakeholders (Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, etc.), and external customers/vendors to formalize program and Lab requirements.
- Provide leadership and oversight of program, Lab performance and ensure compliance with management and information security policies**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science
- At least 12 years’ experience in software delivery for large scale transformational or digitalization projects, and 3+ years of people management experience.
- Good understanding of open-source software development and related automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Nexus, Jenkins, SonarQube, Git, Artifactory)
- Experience in implementing and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines
Good understanding of cloud computing/container deployment and management such as AWS/Azure/OpenStack/Kubernetes(K8s) etc.
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile (SCRUM, XP, Lean & Kanban, etc.) methodologies
- Excellent written communication, meeting management, presentation skills, and ability to comprehend and articulate complex technical issues.

Preferred:

- Docker or Kubernetes certification
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional / Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator / DevOps Expert
- VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
