**What the role is**
- The Home Team Science and Technology Agency (HTX) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) which aims to pioneer innovation solutions and develop world class science and technology capabilities to transform and empower the Home Team in delivering safety and security for Singapore. JOB PURPOSE The Senior Manager / Manager assists the Deputy Director in implementing and maintaining a new funding/budgeting and costing model to achieve good utilisation of S&T resources and accurate costing of S&T services. The staff will tap on technology such as data analytics and financial modelling to analyse S&T’s financial data and draw insights to advise Management and Board on key business decisions that will have financial impact. The staff will also partner the business units in budgeting and expenditure tracking and advise them on accounting matters.

**What you will be working on**
- JOB SCOPE - Analysing and reporting financial information and insights to Management through use of data analytics to assist in key operational or strategic decisions - Implementing and maintaining a new funding and costing methodology to provide Management with insights on S&T’s operating and project management costs - Monitoring and maintaining budgetary systems and costing frameworks to achieve effective utilisation of funds and costing of S&T’s services - Perform analysis of operational financial information and highlight any gaps to financial accounting and operations teams to quickly investigate and address - Business partners to advise business units in various financial, accounting and budgeting issues
