Audio Technician

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**

**Audio Setup and Operation**
- Set up, test, and operate audio equipment for events, including soundboards, microphones, speakers, and other related gear.
- Ensure all audio systems are functioning correctly and safely.
- Willing to work odd hours/weekends/PH

**Technical Support**
- Provide technical support during events, troubleshooting any audio issues that arise.
- Collaborate with other technical teams (lighting, video) to ensure a cohesive event experience.

**Maintenance and Inventory**
- Maintain and perform routine checks on all AV equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Manage inventory of AV equipment, reporting any issues or needs for replacement.

**Event Planning and Coordination**
- Work closely with event coordinators to understand event requirements and plan accordingly.
- Participate in pre-event meetings to discuss technical aspects and ensure smooth execution.

**Team Collaboration**
- Collaborate with other technicians and event staff to achieve event goals.

**Requirements**:
**Technical Skills**
- Strong knowledge of audio systems, including digital consoles, microphones, and speaker systems.
- Experience with audio software and hardware.
- Familiarity with safety protocols related to audio equipment.

**Experience**
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in events or live performance settings.
- Proven track record of successfully managing audio for events.
- Knowledge of Hybrid and Virtual events is a plus

**Soft Skills**
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

**Certifications and Education**
- Relevant certifications in audio technology or a related field are advantageous.
- A diploma in audio engineering or a related field is desirable but not required.
- Class 3 Licence

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $2,600.00 - $2,800.00 per month
