**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform arc welding on a range of materials, including steel, aluminium, and copper.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings to determine welding specifications.
- Prepare workpieces for welding by cleaning, grinding, and cutting materials as necessary.
- Monitor and adjust welding parameters to ensure proper penetration and weld quality.
- Inspect welds for defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the manufacturing team to meet project deadlines.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and meets customer specifications.
- Other ad hoc tasks as assigned.
