About the Role:
First Konnection, an Education Recruitment Specialist, is collaborating with a leading preschool in Singapore that believes every child has a right to an education that brings out their best and supports them in achieving their full potential. This preschool offers both mainstream programs and specialized support for children with diverse abilities, ensuring a holistic education that encompasses academic, social, physical, and emotional growth.

We are looking for dedicated L2 Certified Preschool Teachers inspired to create a dynamic, child-centered environment where educators and in-house therapists work together to provide children with an engaging learning experience.

  • Collaborate with Experts: Work alongside in-house therapists and specialists to develop customized learning strategies for children with unique needs.
  • Inclusive Environment: Teach in small classes with strong teacher-student ratios (Playgroup - N2: 1 teacher per 5 children; K1 - K2: 1 teacher per 8 children) and additional classroom support as needed.
  • Experiential Learning Focus: Engage children through play and exploration while maintaining solid academic foundations, helping each child reach their highest potential.

  • Teach and Inspire: Create high-quality, engaging lessons that cater to both mainstream and special needs children, supporting their holistic growth.
  • Collaborate on Individualized Learning Plans: Partner with therapists to create learning plans tailored to the unique developmental needs of each child.
  • Foster an Inclusive Atmosphere: Build a classroom environment where all children feel valued and encouraged to explore and learn.
  • Engage with Parents: Communicate effectively with parents, sharing insights on each child’s progress and working together to support development.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education (ECCE).
  • L2 Certification recognized by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA).
  • Experience with Special Needs Education: Experience with learning differences (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia) is a plus.
  • Commitment to Holistic Education: A strong dedication to supporting children of diverse abilities and fostering an inclusive classroom environment.
