Egg Cooker

The Egg Cooker is responsible for operating and monitoring machines used to cook boiled eggs, ensuring quality and consistency throughout the process. This role also oversees the egg peeling process, guaranteeing clean and undamaged results. Adherence to food safety and hygiene standards is critical in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Cooking Process
• Set up, operate, and monitor egg-cooking machines to ensure proper cooking times and temperatures.
• Perform regular checks on machinery to ensure efficient operation and minimal downtime.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain quality standards.
• Egg Peeling Oversight
• Monitor the egg-peeling process, ensuring shells are removed cleanly and efficiently without damaging the eggs.
• Address and resolve issues in the peeling process promptly.
• Quality Control
• Inspect cooked and peeled eggs for quality, consistency, and appearance.
• Discard any eggs that do not meet company quality standards.
• Maintenance & Cleaning
• Conduct routine maintenance on cooking and peeling machines, reporting any malfunctions to the maintenance team.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned and sanitized regularly according to company protocols.
• Safety & Hygiene Compliance
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and company hygiene policies.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Keep accurate records of cooking times, machine performance, and production quantities.
• Report any incidents, product issues, or process inefficiencies to the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in food production or machine operation is an advantage.
• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
