About the Team A small, execution-driven engineering team that builds real, revenue-impacting systems — not demos. We work directly with operations, logistics, and marketing teams, translating pain points into software that runs at scale. Current platforms include: Grapestack – predictive inventory, pricing & demand automation SupaDriver – intelligent routing and delivery orchestration Geddit – AI-powered procurement for food, wine, and ingredient sourcing (in development)Together, these products form the foundation of our upcoming spin-out — a new software company born from years of hard-won operational experience. About the Role We're hiring a Founding Product Engineer (Applied AI)to join our Singapore HQ. This is a 0 → 1 role — full-stack, hands-on, and central to the next phase of our technology build. You'll work directly with founders and senior engineers to: Architect and build production-grade systems using Python (FastAPI, Django)and TypeScript (Next.js, React)Develop and integrate LLM-based systems using LangGraph , LangChain , and PydanticAI , creating agentic workflows with contextual reasoning and persistence Design and scale backends on Supabase (PostgreSQL + Row-Level Security)with async I/O, background jobs, and streaming APIs Implement orchestration layers with Redis, Celery , and event-driven schedulers for high-throughput automation Prototype and deploy AI-driven tools across domains including inventory, logistics, procurement, and customer engagement Build adaptive data pipelines linking APIs, structured datasets, and inference endpoints Experiment with the latest frameworks and models — from OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Meta, Hugging Face, Qwen, Kimi , and others — to push applied intelligence forward This isn't a typical engineering role. It's an opportunity to build real software that transforms how an entire industry operates — faster, leaner, smarter. What We're Looking For Background: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field — or equivalent practical experience Experience: 0–3 years (internships, side projects, or open-source work count)Core stack proficiency: Strong in Python and TypeScript , with production experience in FastAPI/Django and/or Next.js/React AI foundations: Understanding of LLM architectures , prompting , and agentic workflows ; familiarity with LangGraph , LangChain , LlamaIndex , or similar frameworks Applied ML exposure: Experience or interest in embeddings , vector databases , and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)systems Ecosystem fluency: Awareness of OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral, Meta, Hugging Face , and the broader open-source model landscape Builder mindset: Proven ability to design and ship independently — projects, prototypes, or open-source tools Collaboration: Clear communicator who can work fluidly across engineering, product, and operations Culture: Bias toward clarity, speed, and ownership over hierarchy or process Exceptional Candidates May Have Delivered production-grade AI or large-scale web platforms end-to-end Hands-on experience with Supabase, Redis, AWS, Vercel, Fly.io , or related infrastructure Public work — side projects, prototypes, or open-source contributions (include GitHub, repos, or portfolios )Interest in F&B, retail, or supply-chain automation , and how technology reshapes real-world operations Desire to grow into leadership as the new venture scales Languages: Python, TypeScript Frameworks: FastAPI, Django, Next.js, React AI Tooling: LangChain, LangGraph, PydanticAI, Hugging Face, OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral Full-time employment under Ebb & Flow Group with competitive salary and benefits: Early access to new restaurants, bars, and concepts Discounts across all Ebb & Flow brands Skip-the-queue access at partner venues Invitations to launches, tastings, and private events Why Join Hospitality is a trillion-dollar industry running on outdated systems.
