Overview
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse including, but not limited to, inventory management, and initiating and recommending appropriate improvements to warehousing processes and operations. The position should demonstrate the ability to anticipate problems that may arise in the workplace using keen observation and forward planning capabilities. In addition, the position will be required to ensure strict compliance to Good Distribution Practice regulations for both Named Patient Supply and registered products.
Position is also responsible for rendering support for production activities, to ensure that right materials are provided for secondary assembly activities and subsequently transferring finished assembled products to appropriate storage locations within the warehouse.
Position will also be required and expected to maintain a detailed and broad knowledge of the Company’s products, services and procedure, and where necessary, liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.

Major Tasks & Activities
Warehousing operations
Performs receiving, storage and distribution operations as per warehousing SOPs for ambient, cold chain and frozen products
Compliance with HSA regulations for upkeep of warehousing operations, processes, and procedures
Safeguard warehouse operations and storage by establishing, enforcing, and monitoring of security procedures and protocols
Inventory management by conducting physical stock reconciliation against inventory management system
Ensure all stock movement, handling and transactions are accurately recorded in inventory management system
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by inspecting equipment and requisitions for replacement
Ensure warehousing operations do not compromise the quality of medicines and services and can demonstrate compliance to GDP and GMP standards
When required, serve as the project leader or subject matter expert for projects relating to the warehouse operations
GDP & GMP compliance
Adhere to all safety instructions and workplace procedures
Reporting of any identified workplace accidents, hazards, and incidents
Maintain standards of cleanliness, tidiness, and organization of work area within the warehouse
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s SOPs, QMS and work instructions
Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of prevailing GDP and GMP regulations, requirements, and standards
Contribute to a Quality focused mindset as Quality is everyone’s responsibility
Ensure that every staff can work in a safe work environment
Ensure that the company’s related activities comply with relevant Acts, legal demands, and ethical standards
