As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Strategy at our organization in Rajarhat, Kolkata, you will play a crucial role in driving business performance, improving internal processes, and overseeing strategic initiatives. As a Chartered Accountant with strong analytical skills and strategic thinking capabilities, you will be responsible for monitoring the business plan, key performance indicators (KPIs), internal controls, and more. Your strategic recommendations will be essential in enhancing internal control mechanisms and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.Your key responsibilities will include continuously tracking business performance against defined plans, identifying gaps in execution, defining and reviewing KPIs across departments, assessing the effectiveness of internal control systems, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance internal controls. Additionally, you will take ownership of the internal audit function, strategize and support merger and demerger activities, collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams for data security, design ESOP schemes, and monitor treasury management activities.The ideal candidate for this role is a Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, possessing a strong strategic mindset with expertise in financial planning, internal audit, corporate policy, merger/demerger transactions, ESOP structuring, data and cyber risk management practices.
