Sales Manager I Retail I Marks & Spencer I Singapore Al-Futtaim Automotive – Sales Manager I Retail – Marks & Spencer – Singapore We are looking for an experienced retail sales manager to drive sales performance and ensure a positive customer experience. Responsibilities Deliver the sales plan for the area by identifying opportunities to drive performance. Identify and exploit commercial opportunities by performing commercial probing to maximise sales return. Actively implement sales promotions and follow the sales plan. Provide a comfortable and convenient shopping experience by maintaining effective merchandise displays, making personal connections and engaging with customers with professional product knowledge and clear ticketing. Ensure a memorable shopping experience by engaging with the team and delivering excellent customer service. Effectively manage and resource all service points such as till points, fitting rooms, etc. Use space and department presentation effectively. Make best use of available space by interpreting commercial information and merchandise group policies. Ensure delivery and maintenance of excellent store presentation and marketing standards across the store, reflecting brand values in product handling techniques. Work with the Visual Merchandising Department to prioritise display of promoted items within the department. Utilise and analyse business information to ensure efficient stock management and optimise stock cover of the responsible department. Monitor consignment goods sales performance and be fully responsible for stock replenishment or returns. Compare competitors' pricing regularly for identical merchandise to maintain pricing credibility. Drive stock accuracy to meet business availability targets. Drive in‐store operational efficiency. Minimise losses and maximise profitability by assisting in achieving agreed targets for staffing costs, theft and loss and controllable expenses. Obtain information, plan for seasonal changes, sales events and promotions, space and equipment needs, and appropriate stock availability. Drive productivity and efficient ways of working in the department. Lead and motivate staff to deliver consistent high standards of performance and behaviour. Deliver performance review process and provide regular feedback. Identify and develop talent through effective development planning and training. Communicate effectively and engage the team throughout the department and the company. All other responsibilities as assigned by line manager and/or Management. Qualifications & Experience 5+ years work experience in the retail industry with supervisory and management experience. Good supervisory and management skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse, interpret and translate data into meaningful business information for action.
