You will work for Worldline's Merchant Services Global Business Line, a major international player in end-to-end Commercial Acquiring, Multichannel Payment Acceptance, and Payment Terminal solutions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Evaluate existing systems and architectures, conducting comprehensive analyses to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for enhancement.
Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
Provide end-to-end technical guidance by creatively applying cloud infrastructure and platform services, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory standards.
Develop detailed architectural blueprints and technical documentation to guide implementation of systems.
Mentor team members on industry practices and technologies, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and supporting skill development.
What Are We Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Java application development and software design with proven practical expertise.
Experience in the Loyalty, Card Payment, Digital Payment, or Banking industry is advantageous.
Extensive knowledge of Java technologies, frameworks, RESTful web services, and JUnit.
Proficient in SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar database technologies.
Solid experience in designing microservices architecture, software optimization, and container deployments (OpenStack, Kubernetes, Docker).
Competent in architecting infrastructure solutions using Linux/Unix and Windows, with recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, and storage architectures.
Experience architecting or deploying cloud/virtualization solutions for enterprise customers.
Familiarity with PaaS architecture and implementation using frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Dataflow.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Knowledge of microservices development and design patterns.
Familiarity with domain-driven design or 12-factor applications.
Ability to engage with product development teams to design, develop, and document solutions.
Experience as an architect for multiple large-scale product or enterprise initiatives.
Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks and design patterns.
Deep understanding of infrastructure security, compliance, and operations.
Experience designing complex solutions with microservices, messaging, streaming, and batch processing technologies.
Proficiency with engineering tools including IDEs, debuggers, profilers, version control systems (GitLab, Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence, Artifactory).
Excellent knowledge of agile software development methodologies and industry best practices.
Genuine interest in technology and software development with high levels of self-motivation.
Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Strong English communication skills (written and oral).
Willingness to travel when needed.
