Assistant Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical)
Roles and Responsibilities
Wiring and installation of electrical control panels based on project requirements and specifications
Create detailed wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and bill of materials using AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent software
Select appropriate components (PLC, VFD, relays, contactors, etc.) based on system requirements
Oversee or support panel fabrication and wiring according to electrical standards (IEC/NFPA/UL)
Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of control panels at the site
Collaborate with project managers, field technicians, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree/Professional Degree (preferably in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering)
Experience in control panel design and integration
Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
Familiar with VSD (Danfoss & Schneider)
Understanding of electrical safety codes and regulations
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Experience in site commissioning and field support
