Responsibilities
Lead the development of concepts, detailed designs, working drawings, and project presentations.
Incorporate plant species, water-sensitive urban design principles, and climate-positive materials into innovative design solutions.
Ensure designs comply with planting standards, maintain soil health, and meet ABC Waters and NParks requirements.
Project & Technical Delivery: Work closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
Coordinate with all stakeholders throughout project phases to uphold design intent and quality standards.
Conduct site visits to supervise implementation and address technical challenges promptly.
Drive continuous improvements in green design processes and documentation practices.
Client Engagement & Advocacy: Participate in client meetings and support pitches for new projects.
Promote the long-term ecological, social, and economic benefits of sustainable green design.
Mentor junior team members, encouraging a collaborative and creative design environment.
Share expertise in ecological detailing and sustainable construction best practices.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture, with a passion for ecological design.
7–10 years of relevant experience in landscape design and project coordination, preferably in sustainable or green projects.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to independently manage multiple projects from concept through completion.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software (e.g., Revit), SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
Freehand sketching and visual storytelling abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage clients, consultants, and internal teams.
Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
Willingness to travel for site visits, meetings, and project coordination.
