Overview Role Mission: We\'re seeking a data-savvy, AI-empowered Content Marketing Manager to own our content strategy and drive measurable digital growth. You\'ll transform SEO insights into high-converting content, optimise our content backlog, and leverage cutting-edge tools to boost organic visibility, engagement, and revenue. If you\'re a digital native obsessed with performance, efficiency, and results, this is your role. Reports to: Digital Growth Director Responsibilities Strategy & Planning: Develop and manage the execution of content strategy aligned with SEO/AEO best practices to accelerate organic traffic, conversions, and revenue growth. Content Backlog Management: Prioritise, maintain, and optimise the content backlog to support activities of other websites and performance marketing activities. SEO/AEO Execution: Create and optimise content for search engines and answer engines (AEO), ensuring keyword targeting, semantic relevance, and UX best practices. AI-Driven Efficiency: Utilise AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, SurferSEO, MarketMuse) to streamline research, drafting, and optimisation while maintaining quality. Conversion Optimisation: Craft compelling, user-focused content that drives actions (e.g., lead gen, sales, sign-ups) through persuasive storytelling and CTAs. Performance Analysis: Track KPIs (traffic, rankings, conversions, engagement) using analytics tools (e.g., GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and iterate for continuous improvement. Team Leadership/Mentorship: Lead copywriters and designers to produce content that supports performance marketing and website programmes. Qualifications Proven SEO/AEO Expertise: Deep understanding of technical SEO/AEO, on-page optimisation, keyword research, and emerging trends (e.g. Answer engine optimisation (AEO), AI etc). Leadership/Team Experience: This role will be empowered to build a world-class content team to support performance marketing and website programmes to drive growth. SEO Writing Mastery: Ability to write engaging, scannable, and SEO-friendly content (blogs, landing pages, guides that rank and convert). AI Tool Proficiency: High efficiency using AI for ideation, drafting, optimisation, and analytics. Growth Mindset: Obsession with data-driven results, conversion metrics, and revenue impact. Digital Native: Intuitive grasp of digital trends, user behavior, and platform algorithms. Nice-to-Haves Experience with AI content generation tools.
