Roles & Responsibilities Job Description Stanfort Academy is seeking an experienced and dedicated Part-Time Doctorate Supervisor to teach and supervise candidates enrolled in the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) programme . Key Responsibilities: · Deliver lectures, tutorials and seminars in assigned modules. · Supervise and mentor DBA candidates in their research and dissertation work. · Provide guidance on research design, methodology, data analysis, and academic writing. · Offer constructive feedback to ensure steady progress and high-quality outputs. · Assist in shaping research proposals and supporting candidates in developing their research questions. · Evaluate and assess dissertation drafts in accordance with academic standards. · Stay current with developments in business and management research. · Collaborate with the academic department to ensure alignment with programme goals and university requirements. Requirements · Doctorate or PhD in Business and Management, or related subjects · A Minimum of 2 years of supervision experience (experience with successful DBA/PhD candidates will be an advantage) · A Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in a specific field and/or 2 years of research journal publication in related or specific field and/or 2 years of experience in reviewing papers · Teaching experience in higher education, preferably at postgraduate or doctoral level. Key Skills • Strong knowledge of research methodologies, data analysis, and academic writing.• Ability to teach and engage mature learners at a postgraduate level.• Excellent mentoring, leadership, and communication skills.• Proficiency in guiding doctoral candidates through all stages of the research process.• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
