Responsibilities
Create and Administer an Oracle Database, Pluggable Databases
Configure and Administer Oracle Net Services
Create and Manage Database Storage
Handle Database migration
Manage Automated Maintenance Tasks
Monitor and Tune Database Performance
Manage Oracle Database instances, including initialization parameters, and learn to start and stop databases as per operational requirements
Enforce database security by managing users, roles, privileges, and audit policies to protect data integrity and comply with security standards
Configure Oracle Net Services to facilitate communication with Oracle instances
Skills Requirement
2-4 years of experience in Oracle Cloud and Oracle Database administration.
Understanding of Oracle database architecture and administration.
Familiarity with Oracle RAC and multitenant architecture.
Oracle backup and recovery concepts using RMAN, datapump, and export/import.
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud (OCI), Exadata, and Exadata (ExaCC).
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Good communication skills and a proactive learning attitude.
Good in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and analytical tasks.
Communication and coordination abilities are required, along with initiative and a sense of ownership.
Good to Have
Exposure to various Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
Exposure to scripting languages such as Ansible and Python
