Event Support Position

This is a temporary role providing support for an educational institution's upcoming Convocation ceremonies. The candidate should be confident and have relevant working experience in event management.

Key Responsibilities

The Event Support will provide assistance with:

  • Organizing logistics and ensuring smooth execution of the events
  • Coordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate a seamless experience
  • Assisting with setup, tear-down, and maintenance of event facilities
  • Providing exceptional customer service to attendees, guests, and staff

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field would be an asset
  • Proven experience in event management, preferably in an education setting
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
