Job Description Summary We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician with inventory management and basic computer skills. The role involves erection, commissioning, and service activities for Gas‐Insulated Switchgear (GIS), Generator Circuit Breakers (GCB), and Auxiliary Indoor Switchgear (AIS). Key responsibilities include maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing sold or existing products, performing preventive and remedial maintenance, and managing maintenance facilities. The technician reports to the Field Service Manager and provides technical support, promotes customer satisfaction, and supplies engineering and product‐development feedback. Roles and Responsibilities Assist the project site team with installation and testing activities. Support the site team in performing periodic maintenance of GE Grid Solutions equipment on customer premises. Execute site activities in accordance with GE Grid process and core values of safety and integrity. Maintain tools and test equipment, ensuring they are properly serviced. Keep administrative responsibilities up to date, including project timesheets and reports. Ensure zero deviation from GE EHS policy and report/resolve any non‐conformances promptly. Support stakeholders in securing opportunities through internal programs. Required Qualifications NITEC / Diploma. 1–3 years of working experience. Experience in testing and commissioning of protection relays and interpreting electrical schematic diagrams is an advantage. Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Good knowledge of electronic measurements and equipment. Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays as necessary. Effective interpersonal skills, capable of working independently and in teams. Availability for site maintenance and overseas travel. Positive attitude and excellent customer relationship skills.
