About The Role The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term. We’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team, with a primary focus on supporting our global expansion strategies and operations. You’ll be handling high‑priority, complex legal issues associated with launching and scaling in new international jurisdictions. What You'll Be Doing Serving as the key legal point of contact for matters relating to our growing global hubs Providing strategic legal guidance and support for new markets, such as assessing regulatory landscapes, advising on legal feasibility, and thinking through necessary legal frameworks Advising on legal issues related to the launch of products, like payments, considering the regulatory requirements and corporate structuring needs of our expansion markets Reviewing and drafting product terms, disclosures, and customer‑facing communications Assisting with licensing applications Drafting company policies and corporate governance framework Supporting the Legal team with regulatory filings, governance tasks, and business initiatives Leading document management and other administrative tasks Documenting legal know‑how and assisting with internal knowledge sharing What You'll Need 3+ years of post‑qualification legal experience in a law firm or in‑house environment within relevant industries, like banking or financial services A solid understanding of multi‑jurisdictional legal requirements, corporate structuring, and international expansion Impeccable attention to detail Motivation to thrive in a fast‑paced environment Confidence managing high volumes of legal documentation An interest in using technology to improve legal processes Demonstrated independence, initiative, and sound decision‑making A proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects within tight timeframes A willingness to take ownership and learn quickly Nice to Have Prior experience in a high‑growth fintech company, understanding the balance between innovation and regulation Familiarity with cross‑border regulatory compliance, reporting, and anti‑money laundering (AML) frameworks Experience with specific financial products relevant to our business (e.g., payments, trading, credit, or digital
