Marine Diesel Engine Technician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled technician to perform repair, maintenance, and overhaul work on 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine diesel engines.

  • Key Responsibilities include:
  • Carry out tasks in shipyards or at anchorages adhering to all requirements and safety protocols.
  • Maintain prompt responses and clear communication with customers through effective customer service.
  • Undertake any other duties assigned by the Operations Manager.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A diploma in mechanical/electrical/marine engineering is preferred but not required.
  • Hands-on experience in trouble-shooting, maintenance and repair is desired.
  • Applicants without experience may be considered for entry-level positions, with proper training provided.

Work Experience

  • Previous experience working with marine diesel engines is highly valued.
  • A strong understanding of mechanical principles and troubleshooting techniques is essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
