Join to apply for the Senior Architect role at P+A Projects Pte Ltd . Responsibilities Meeting with clients and other involved professionals at an early stage to agree on the project brief. Developing project briefs and working on these as the project progresses. Preparing design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) and traditional drawing methods. Contributing to planning applications and other regulatory application procedures. Understanding how the design aspects of a construction project influence and relate to performance and functional issues, so that practical questions can be addressed at an early stage. Following up with the detailed design process and coordinating design information. Liaising with appropriate authorities (e.g. Planning enquiries and technical officers) to obtain statutory approval. Coordinating and liaising with the various consultants on the project team. Advising clients on procuring the best and most appropriate contracts for the work they are undertaking. Leading the preparation of tender documentation and construction drawings. Assisting in administering contracts and project certifications. Obtaining feedback on work in progress and finished results from clients. Making site visits to check on progress and ensuring that the project is running within the agreed timescale. Solving problems that might occur during building/construction stage. Carrying out defect inspections. Managing the work of junior staff/direct reports. Requirements Minimum 10 years experience in the architectural industry in Singapore or Malaysia. Able to work within a team and in a fast-paced environment. Familiar with building regulations (Singapore or Malaysia). Strong portfolio. Good working attitude, proactive and conscientious.
