Overview
Prime mover Driver Job Responsibilities:
Drive and operate of prime mover, Family with PSA operations, picking up empty containers and flat racks from shipping line's depot.
Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
Pre-inspect truck.
Pick up Over size cargo, pipes, oil and gas equpiment etc and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
Experience for clearance of all type containers and loose cargo/ breakbulk and oversize from Jurong Port and private jetties.
Truck Driver Skills and Qualifications
Traffic laws/ Port regulations/ driving knowledge.
Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred.
Clean driving record.
Listening and verbal communication skills.
Education, Experience, and Age Requirements
CDL – Class 4 or Class 5
25 years or older
At least 2-3 years related experience in SINGAPORE.
