Project Title: Investigating the Association Between Pedagogies and Cognitive Flexibility

Project Overview: This study aims to explore how cognitive flexibility (CF), defined as the ability to switch between tasks or ideas, interacts with different pedagogical approaches. The team will collaborate with secondary school students and teachers using various research instruments and statistical methods to assess whether cognitive flexibility influences learning outcomes differently across these approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team in conceptualising research design and preparing research instruments.
  • Assist the team in administrative matters such as participant recruitment and procurement.
  • Contribute to data collection and management including travel to school sites.
  • Support the team in data analysis including coding and statistical tests.
  • Collaborate in publication efforts such as writing research papers.
  • Perform other research tasks assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in neuroscience educational neuroscience or related fields. Master's degree holders may be considered for a Research Associate position.
  • Proficient in statistical knowledge and methods.
  • Experience in qualitative data analysis conducting clinical trials or educational research is optional.
  • Highly self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to work with students teachers and researchers.
