Job Description: Support the implementation and execution of the Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Programme in accordance with institutional policies and standards. Conduct ongoing surveillance and ward rounds to identify, investigate, and report healthcare-associated infections, outbreaks, clusters, and potential infection risks involving patients, staff, and equipment. Provide expert advice on IPC-related matters to ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practices. Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate data and records related to IPC surveillance activities and clinical incidents. Organize and conduct audits in assigned wards to assess adherence to IPC protocols and recommend improvements where necessary. Deliver IPC training and education sessions to both patients and healthcare staff to promote awareness and best practices.
