Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

The candidate must have hands-on experience in infrastructure service delivery, leading a team of engineers focused on both AWS and on-premise infrastructure.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage the infrastructure team, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including cloud and on-premise solutions.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the infrastructure budget, optimizing costs while ensuring adequate resources are available.
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze infrastructure performance, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with other departments to understand their infrastructure needs and provide solutions.
  • Innovation: Stay current with emerging technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to improve infrastructure capabilities

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
  • Preferably 5 or more years of relevant working experience as Infrastructure Lead
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, security and risk
  • Excellent project management and vendor management skills
