This role reports to the Executive Housekeeper. Job Responsibilities Ensures that all guestrooms/public areas are cleaned and supplied according to the standards set by the hotel. Supervises and inspects cleaning of guest rooms, service areas and public areas assigned regularly to ensure that a high standard of cleanliness is maintained at all times. Responsible for the planning, coordination and administration of rooms/ public area operations. Handles associate grievances, discipline and counsels them accordingly. Ensures continual effective pest control system is in place to rid the hotel of all vermin. Assists in ensuring the protection and maintenance for all equipment used in the Housekeeping Department. Ensures the completion of all work orders pertaining to Housekeeping Department. Assists in overseeing all maintenance of plants, gardening and landscaping operations of the hotel, including floral arrangements. Supervises the performance of room attendants and takes appropriate action to correct deficient conditions, behavior and work practices. Maintains a high level of guest service and ensures rapid and professional response to all guest requests. Responsible to conducts regular checks on housekeeping trolleys and pantry storage areas to ensure that they are properly arranged and well-maintained. Ensures completion of all work orders pertaining to Housekeeping. Conducts performance appraisal review of housekeeping staff and provides guidance/feedback when needed. Responsible for the preparation of operational reports. Requirements Secondary education or equivalent Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar job role preferably in a hotel Proficient in MS Office applications Strong team player Possesses good communication and leadership skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
