Fire Protection Specialist

Job Description:

As a Fire Protection Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and leading projects related to Fire Protection Systems. Your primary focus will be on overseeing the full spectrum of project management, from budget preparation to site activities coordination.

You will work closely with teams of engineers, supervisors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. Additionally, you will develop design proposals, prepare shop drawings and equipment/material for approval, and submit as-built drawings and operation maintenance manuals.

Furthermore, you will conduct training sessions for clients during project handover, prepare and submit progress reports, proposals, requirement documentation, and presentations. Effective communication and leadership skills are essential in this role, as you will lead and communicate with site engineers and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate projects related to Fire Protection Systems
  • Develop and implement project budgets
  • Oversee site activities and ensure compliance with safety guidelines
  • Lead and communicate with site engineers and supervisors
  • Prepare and submit technical documentation and reports

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Fire Sprinkler System and Fire Alarm System management
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in engineering design for Fire Protection Systems
  • Familiarity with relevant standards, codes of practice, and authority requirements
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
