Your Roles
Develop the project plan, proactively manage the order, coordinate with all relevant internal and external partners to manage all aspects of orders to meet customer’s expectations and internal important metrics.
Work to ensure costs are managed and wherever possible, that still allows the project to meet customer requirements, action should be taken to avoid costs.
Coordinate with vendors (including subcontractors), factories, purchasing department, and Sales team to get order status and support prioritization.
Ability to provide sufficient input into the technical analysis of the project.
Manage day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
Responsible for producing and maintaining detailed project plans & timelines to the clients.
Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
Job Requirements
Minimum Degree qualification. Prefer with minimum 3 years of experience in industrial / engineering field and 2 years in supervisory capacity.
Experience within the Marine and Oil & Gas industry is a bonus.
Ability to manage and develop an existing customer base with Sales team.
Strong communication skills are essential (verbal, non-verbal, written).
Dynamic, resourceful & result oriented.
Good team player with integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project is an advantage
Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, staff, customers and the general public.
Willing to travel within or out of Malaysia in short notice as and when necessary.
