Job Title: Childcare Operations Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the daily operations of our childcare centre. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality education and care to young children.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the centre's resources, overseeing staff performance, and implementing programs that align with our centre's vision and mission. They will also be expected to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the overall quality of our childcare services.
  • Lead by example and promote a positive work culture that fosters collaboration, respect, and open communication among staff members.
  • Conduct regular evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging educational programs that meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to support staff in their professional development and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing childcare services.
  • Participate in appraisal procedures and contribute to ongoing professional development opportunities for staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • A Diploma in Pre-school Education - Leadership (DPE-L) or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of relevant supervisory experience in a childcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff members.
  • Capacity to think critically and make sound decisions.
