Job Role: Simulation Engineer

The simulation team is part of a cutting-edge technology department comprised of expert engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct static, dynamic, and thermal-mechanical analyses with minimal supervision.
  • Drive design decisions using credible simulation methods and collaborate closely with Design Engineers.
  • Proactively assess risks, solve problems, and communicate issues concisely.
  • Plan, prioritize, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes across teams and locations.
  • Develop new technical skills as needed to resolve complex issues through self-learning and research.
  • Present findings and mitigation strategies to cross-functional teams for effective solutions.
  • Enhance product performance and reliability by promoting technical excellence, best practices, and developing new tools or methods.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Material Science, or equivalent, with 2+ years' experience in mechanical product analysis and development.
  • Proficient in CAD/CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, Moldflow, Abaqus) and experienced in structural (FEA), plastic molding, and modal/vibration analyses.
  • Strong understanding of solid mechanics and material strength; experience with FEA automation or machine learning is desirable.
  • Familiarity with measurement and data acquisition tools (e.g., B&K Pulse, strain gauge, MATLAB, Labview).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk identification skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and contribute to FMEA sessions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly present ideas and coach less experienced engineers.
  • Collaborative team player, passionate about FEA automation and analytics, open to feedback and knowledge sharing.
