We are seeking a seasoned and visionary
Design Director
to lead multidisciplinary design initiatives from concept through execution. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong creative sensibility, team leadership skills, and the ability to guide high-quality design outcomes across a variety of projects.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels, driving design excellence while inspiring teams and clients alike.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the creative direction of projects across multiple disciplines (brand, spatial, digital, etc.)
Collaborate with strategy, business, and technical teams to define and deliver holistic design solutions.
Ensure design quality and consistency across all project touchpoints.
Guide and mentor designers, fostering a culture of growth, learning, and creative excellence.
Present work confidently to internal teams and clients, articulating the rationale and business impact.
Support business development through pitch contributions, project scoping, and thought leadership.
Maintain an awareness of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to keep the studio at the forefront of design innovation.
Qualifications
8+ years of professional design experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through complex design challenges.
Strong portfolio demonstrating breadth and depth across disciplines.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
Experience working with senior stakeholders and managing client relationships.
A collaborative mindset and ability to work well across functions and cultures.
