Job Responsibilities Providing legal advice on commercial contracts, especially those focused on technology. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology procurement contracts, including RFPs, tenders, and vendor agreements. Developing legal templates and risk assessment processes. Supporting legal compliance related to technology and data privacy. Analyzing legal issues and developing practical solutions aligned with business goals. Understanding the company's technology needs and legal implications. Keeping the company updated on relevant laws and regulations. Ensuring compliance with internal policies and approval processes. Conducting disciplinary inquiries related to data and technology policies. Creating and delivering legal training on technology and data compliance. Job Requirements Education & Certification Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized university such as NUS, SMU, or equivalent. Additional certifications in data privacy, technology law, AI, or digital regulation are preferred. Admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore or equivalent. Experience 4-5 years PQE in a reputable law firm or in-house legal team specializing in technology law. Other Prerequisites Experience in drafting and negotiating data protection, tech contracts, media law, and telecoms regulation agreements. Strong drafting and communication skills, with a commercially savvy approach. Confident, proactive, and able to prioritize and multitask under pressure.
