Overview
Contributes and assists in developing design solutions to advance respective projects while working independently with guidance. Anticipates job expectations while performing design and technical tasks requiring application of standard techniques and knowledge.
Responsibilities
Modifies or creates implementation documents, applying standard landscape architecture techniques and procedures according to written and verbal specifications with general supervision
Collaborates on design and technical resolution and coordination for a defined portion of a project
Assists in preparing client presentations and graphic materials able to present project design intent
Performs product and planting research; assists project designers with material selection and system research
Performs limited technical studies and investigations for a variety of conditions present at project sites
May support research of code and zoning requirements
May attend on-site visits, and client and/or project meetings and documents these visits as appropriate
Assists in preparing schedules by reviewing implementation documents and samples as needed
Communicates with other disciplines, vendors and contractors to incorporate information into design, project requirements and documents as needed
Participates in team meetings to discuss project issues, design and technical issues and coordination with other disciplines
Travel may be required
Qualifications
Accredited professional degree in Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning or related field
Architectural registration or associated licensure strongly preferred
Typically with 3+ years of experience
Sustainable design accreditation preferred
Experience in architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Rhino, 3D modeling preferred
Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup and InDesign graphic software preferred
Experience in the use of written and graphic AI tools preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Suite preferred
Knowledge of sustainability and integrated design guidelines
Knowledge of QA/QC process
Ability to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner both verbally and in writing
Ability to problem solve and collaborate on innovative solutions
Ability to work in team environment
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Ability to effectively meet deadlines at expected quality
