Applicants should also have the fitness and stamina to deliver lessons, and resilience required to engage students safely and carry out their duties effectively.You can look forward to a fulfilling career that enables you to develop your students both within and beyond the classroom.RequirementsAcademic Qualifications- A university degree in Japanese Language, Linguistics, or Language Education.- Or, a university degree and a teaching certification in Japanese as a foreign language. E.g., Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Education, or passed either the 日本語教育能力検定試験 or 日本語教員試験.Skills and Competencies- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.- Proficient in using educational technology tools to enhance teaching and learning.- Skilled in developing assessment materials and curriculum resources.Language Proficiency- Fluent in both Japanese and English.Experience- Prior experience teaching Japanese to students aged 12 - 19 will be advantageous.- Strong classroom management skills, particularly for large classes (30-40 students) will be an added advantage.Application DetailsIf you wish to be considered for an interview, please apply via at application window will be open from 10 October 2025 to 6 November 2025, 11pm (Singapore Time).
